This article is for our old, now deprecated, Kiri:Moto-based client-side slicer: NOT our new cloud slicer. Will be removed at the end of 2025.

Since the SimplyPrint slicer allows you to select the printer you're slicing for, it's also possible to assign a slicer profile to a printer, so when you switch between your printers, the correct slicer profile will automatically be selected!

This is very easy to set up;

1. Create or edit a slicer profile

Click on the profile-dropdown in the top right corner of the slicer, choose the bottom option "New profile" to create a new one, or hover the profile you wish to edit and click the blue pencil edit-button.

2. Click the printer dropdown, and select printer(s)

The printer(s) you select here will now be tied to this slicer profile, so when one of the selected printers are selected, the slicer profile will also be selected!
